Is it really free?
Yes. GentleSight is free to download and includes 40 starter sight words plus all six games. An optional one-time Word Pack ($9.99) adds 60 more curated Primer + Grade 1 words. There’s no subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes, fully. GentleSight runs entirely on your device and needs no internet connection to play.
Do you collect my child’s data?
No — nothing leaves the device. GentleSight collects no personal information; your child’s progress is stored locally only. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings (behind the parental gate) and choose Restore Purchases. Your Word Pack is tied to your store account, so it restores on any device signed in to that account.
Is there a subscription?
No. The optional Word Pack is a one-time purchase — no recurring charges, ever.
What ages is it for?
GentleSight is designed for children ages 4–8.
How do I turn on high-contrast mode or change the speech speed?
Open Settings, behind the parental gate. There you can switch on high-contrast mode and adjust the speech rate and pacing to suit your child.
Is it on iPhone?
GentleSight is coming to Android first. An iOS version is planned for later.
